4 cups water
2/3 a cup coarsely ground dark roast coffee
1 inch cinnamon quill
raw sugar, to taste
1/2 inch strip of orange zest (optional)
- Bring the water to the boil, add orange and cinnamon and simmer two for two minutes.
- Remove from the heat, add the coffee and stir thoroughly.
- Leave sit for five minutes, add sugar to taste, strain and serve.
